Gramercy Park and Union Square

From one of New York’s most bustling parks to its only private park this tour will cover both fashionable theater and socialist rallies. The refined streets of the exclusive enclave which surround Gramercy Park will transport you to a world away from the politics, shopping and entertainment of Union Square, but you’ll only travel a few blocks! Stops include: Tammany Hall, the Players Club, and the homes of Stanford White and Theodore Roosevelt.

"For most of my life, I believed independent travel was the only route to the real unfiltered stuff. I eschewed group experiences like the plague, most of all, anything incorporating the word tour. My mistake. I’ve gained some of my best travel memories from being herded around with a bunch of strangers on a Big Onion Walking Tour."
